Jelf was founded in 1989, and in 2015 became part of Marsh McLennan, a global leader in risk, strategy and people. In 2016 Marsh McLennan acquired Bluefin and united them with Jelf. Then in 2018, a new Jelf joint branding was introduced, bringing together the rich heritage of these two leading community brokers under a single name. Finally, in 2020 the business was named Marsh Commercial.
