The Cheltenham-based driver won the esteemed GB3/British F3 Championship last weekend at Donington Park Circuit. Despite only needing to finish race 1 to secure the title, Zak brought it home with a pole position and two impressive race wins, delighting the hordes of fans who were in attendance.
At just 16-years-old, Zak is the youngest driver ever to win the championship. In addition to this impressive feat, Zak won the most races this season, achieved the most podiums and the most pole positions, led the greatest number of laps and gained the most places in the reverse grid races.
Zak looks forward to experiencing his prize for winning the title – a two-day test in an FIA F3 car in Valencia, Spain. FIA F3 is a series that directly supports F1 and is the breeding ground of F1’s future stars.
“I am so thankful for the support of Marsh Commercial in my journey to the GB3 title. Racing is an incredibly competitive industry and I owe it to my sponsors that I am here today. I will continue to wear the Marsh Commercial company logo with pride as I take on my next challenge, a test in an FIA F3 car!”, says Zak O’Sullivan.
In November, Zak will be meeting with Marsh Commercial’s CEO Anthony Gruppo to feature on his ‘The Roots of Leadership’ podcast.
